Flood Relief in Ghana

Bonsomi helped a school that was devastated by a flood in Ghana. In a time of crisis, Bonsomi supported the rebuilding effort and immediate aid in the wake of the 2015 fires and floods in Ghana. The flooding from the torrential rain caused the gas to diesel petrol to flow away and a fire from a nearby house caused an explosion, which destroy nearby schools and other houses. With the help of different sponsors, Bonsomi deployed much needed aid to those most impacted by the fires and floods that killed over 150 people and destroyed important sanitation and hygiene infrastructure. One of our donations included school uniforms to students, as well as sanitary products such as napkins, soaps and brooms to schools to help them clean the school compound after the flood.
