Dear Friends,

In 2012, AAHA made an important commitment when we decided to annually fund the health insurance needs of HIV/AIDS orphans at the HardtHaven Children’s Home in Kpando, Ghana. With your support, we have so far been successful in providing coverage for about 200 HIV/AIDS orphans in Ghana. Please take a look at an appreciation letter from one of our partners, HardtHaven: As part of our summer 2013 goals, AAHA board member, Jonathan Allotey also visited HIV/AIDS orphans at the HardtHaven Orphanage. This enabled us to assess the use of the funding we provided for the coverage of their health insurance costs in 2013. It was exciting to learn that the free coverage we provided enable all the kids to access quality healthcare at any time. We are therefore deeply committed to sustain this partnership. This year, it’s our goal to extend the coverage to include children with disabilities at various centers in Kumasi and Prestea. Your $5-$10 donation will enable an HIV/AIDS orphan or a child with a disability, to access quality healthcare throughout the year as well as get assistance with educational provisions.
